College Financial Aid & Scholarship Information

College Financial Aid

Financial aid is money available to assist scholars with the costs of attending college. Financial aid comes from the federal government, state government, the college, and from private sources in the form of scholarships. Grants and scholarships are assistance you don't have to pay back. Federal work-study allows you to work and earn money to help pay for school. Loans are borrowed money that you must repay with interest.

Scholars must apply for financial aid for each year that they are pursuing higher education. The following links provide information and resources for accessing financial aid. Scholars and families are also encouraged to speak with the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office at the specific college, university, or CTE program they are interested in pursuing.
